Price limits, not a quote. These maximums apply to NDIA-managed and plan-managed funding. Agree actual charges with your provider. Time, day, intensity and delivery zone affect the applicable item and limit.

Staffing, shared supports and other costs

Confirm the eligible support item, worker skills, hours and staffing arrangements. Shared support needs an agreed allocation across participants; multiple workers need their own agreed hours. Do not assume a ratio simply divides the price.

Sleepovers, daily accommodation packages and separate activities need their own applicable items and claiming conditions. This table shows selected hourly items only. Check the official pricing guidance.

The full guide

01

Who is SIL for?

SIL is for higher support needs requiring help or supervision around the clock, including overnight. The NDIA decides whether SIL or another home and living option suits your needs.

02

Plan the support together.

  • Daytime and overnight help, including any shared support.
  • Communication, access, personal care and routines.
  • Agreed charges, available funding and how changes are handled.
03

Frequently asked questions.

Does SIL pay for rent or housing?

No. SIL funds support, not rent, groceries or bills. Housing and any tenancy agreement are separate from the support agreement.

Do you have a home or support team available now?

Ask our intake team to confirm current capacity. A referral does not reserve accommodation or guarantee a start date.

What should I check before choosing a provider?

Check their registration scope, support arrangements, written agreement and costs. Discuss suitability with your NDIS contact or coordinator.

Real stories

Support that shows.

Different to other providers I've used in the past.

A friend told me about Unify and I was like, yeah, another provider, whatever. But the first phone call felt different. They were kind, respectful, and actually asked me what I wanted. I feel heard for the first time in years.

Everything's easier now.

Life with a disability has enough challenges already. Since working with Unify, I’ve got regular therapy that fits around work, a coordinator who checks in weekly, and support workers that actually care.
