Find the right support.

Specialist positive behaviour support, built with compassion and evidence.

01

What positive behaviour support can involve.

Positive behaviour support aims to improve quality of life by understanding needs and the reasons behind behaviour. It can include skill-building, changes to the environment and guidance for supporters. Read the Commission’s plain-English overview.

02

Questions for your first conversation.

  • What would you like to change in everyday life?
  • Who would you like involved, and what information can be shared?
  • What assessment, plan and support-team training may be needed?
  • Which funding, appointment format and costs apply?

Specialist providers and practitioners have specific Commission requirements. Ask about the practitioner’s suitability and experience with your needs.

Real stories

Support that shows.

They sent someone who gets my son.

Honestly, I was exhausted trying to find the right supports through the NDIS. But Unify changed everything. Our OT is not just ticking boxes. She's part of our team.

Feels like I've got a whole team behind me now.

I used to have to chase every single therapist, and no one spoke to each other. But with Unify it’s all just... connected. My OT, speechy and behaviour support worker all work together and actually talk to me like a person.
